Thursday through Saturday evenings: Come and enjoy a full dinner prepared with fresh and local ingredients by our own Chef Janet Loven. The menu has nightly themes: Prime Rib, New Orleans style, Thai, and others, as well as a variety of standard offerings. We always have a vegetarian option.

Sunday evenings: Join us for our lakeside buffet, with roast beef, ham, pulled pork, vegetarian entrees, a wide variety of salads and side dishes, desserts, and beverages. Enjoy live entertainment from our Music Series. The buffet serves from 6:00pm to 7:00pm; music runs 'til 8:00pm.

Wednesday evenings: Come by after work for our Wednesday Cookout, serving chicken, sausages, burgers, vegetarian fare, assorted salads and sides, beverages, and dessert. We serve from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, with entertainment from our Music Series.

Monday and Tuesday evenings: Grab a bite from the Lunch Bar which remains open until 6:00pm, and provides a family-style dinner "to go" with all the fixings.

Our Lunch Bar is open daily from 11:00am through 4:30pm for sandwiches, panini, wraps, soups, salads, ice cream, and snacks.

We serve a full breakfast daily between 8:00am and 9:30am. Continental breakfast is available until 10:30am.

The Restaurant at Loch Lyme Lodge is open to the public as well as guests staying in cabins. If you're not staying in a cabin, we appreciate a call ahead to make a reservation at 603-795-2141.

Please remember that we do not have a liquor license, so feel free to bring your own wine or beer. Our innkeepers can make recommendations for purchasing wine and beer locally.

Although we always provide vegetarian options, please let us know if someone in your party is a vegan or has other special food needs. Our chef is very happy to work with you to provide an enjoyable dining experience.


Begin your day with our full breakfast: juices, a fruit and cereal bar, eggs any style, home-baked muffins, and grill items such as blueberry pancakes, French toast, and bacon or sausage served from 8:00 to 9:30am. For lighter appetites, children who want a snack, or adults looking forward to another cup of coffee, there's a self-service continental breakfast available until 10:30am. For early risers, we'll have coffee, tea, and juice available at 6:30am everyday. The B&B Cabin price includes the full breakfast each morning. Housekeeping guests and the public may purchase breakfast separately.

Lunch Bar

Our Lunch Bar menu is available between 11:30am and 4:30pm. The take-out menu features sandwiches, wraps, panini, salads, beverages, ice cream and more. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the Lunch Bar stays open until 6:00pm to provide a family-style dinner with all the fixings "to go."


We feature a choice of delicious dinners from Wednesday through Saturday nights in the Main Lodge dining room. Dinner includes an appetizer, house-made soup or fresh salad, beverage and a variety of mouth-watering desserts. We make every effort to use locally grown fruit and vegetables (at times harvested from our own garden), and responsibly sourced proteins. Adult guests are welcome to bring their own beer or wine (BYOB).

For children 12 and under, we offer a children's menu. Children ages 4 and under are free.

We seat for dinner between 5:30pm to 8:00pm. We appreciate (and strongly encourage) reservations. Each afternoon, view our dinner menu in the Lodge sunroom.

On Sunday and Wednesday evenings, we host a buffet dinner followed by a performance by local musicians. Sundays, we serve at 6:00pm sharp. On Wednesday, come by after work between 5:30 and 7:30pm for the buffet. For both, we require reservations, since we frequently sell out. Choose from a variety of main course options, pasta dishes, flavorful salads, with lots of fantastic vegetarian fare, and our award-winning four-cheese mac and cheese. Water and lemonade are provided and this event is BYOB for adult beverages. To finish off your meal, we offer watermelon, cookies, brownies, or other scrumptious goodies!

Loch Lyme Lodge offers comfortable, informal dining facilities. Eat in the main dining room, or outdoors at cafe or picnic-style tables. High chairs or booster seats are available as needed. We can also accommodate larger parties and groups on our North Porch. Shirts and shoes are required in the Lodge at all times.

Rates for Dining

Breakfast includes fruit and cereal, fresh-baked muffins, eggs, pancakes, french toast, bacon or sausage, home fries and beverages. $11.75 for adults, $6.50 for children.

Dinner includes a choice of salad, soup, appetizer and entree, non-alcoholic beverage, and dessert. All of our food is made fresh, in-house, and we use locally produced products whenever possible. Dinner prices are à la carte, with dinner sandwiches ranging from $8.00 to $10.00, and full dinners ranging from $15.00 to $25.00. We do not have a liquor license, but you may bring your own wine or beer.

The Sunday Buffet and Wednesday Cookout feature a variety of salads, entrees, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. Sunday Buffet by the Lake is $25.00 for adults, $10.00 for children ages 5-12. The Wednesday Cookout is $20.00 for adults, $8.00 for children. We do not have a liquor license, but you may bring your own wine or beer.

For all meals, children ages 4 and under are always free.

Special Events

Is a special day occuring during your stay at Loch Lyme Lodge? We would be delighted to bake a cake or create some other special meal for someone in your party. Please let us know three days in advance so we can prepare.
