Weddings at Loch Lyme Lodge are truly special - it's the perfect place to design the wedding of your dreams. We can host up to 175 people for the ceremony and reception, with 70-75 staying on-site in our 20 lakeside cabins, so you can enjoy your guests all weekend.
With nearly two decades of experience, we are intimately connected to the local wedding industry. From rustic to refined, we can help you find just the right vendors to create your dream wedding. We'll provide you a list of some of the amazing people we've had the pleasure of working with in the past.
You'll enjoy exclusive access to our 115-acre property, including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddle-boarding, fishing, a network of hiking trails, a clay tennis court, basketball, tetherball, and a variety of lawn games.

Where will my ceremony be held?
Most couples choose to hold their ceremony right next to the lake where we have a craftsman arch that can be decorated exactly as you choose. We also have a pastoral meadow as well as wooded areas, should you prefer a forest wedding.
Where will my reception take place?
Behind our historic barn is an open, grassy field. We can make recommendations for local rental companies that can set up a lovely wedding tent, complete with tables, chairs, lighting, linens, china, silverware and even a dance floor.
When do you offer weddings?
We host weddings in late May, June and September. This ensures that you will have use of the full site, including all 20 cabins, for your wedding.
Do you have onsite lodging?
Yes! We have 20 rustic cabins that sleep 70-75 people. The cost of the cabins is included in the total price for the site. We also have recommendations for other nearby spots for overflow or guests with accessibility needs.
What's included with the site fee?
You enjoy the entire site including all 20 cabins for your weekend. We prepare the cabins for a Friday afternoon check-in, all made up with fresh linens and blankets, full sets of towels and a bundle of firewood for your guests. We can also easily accommodate early check-ins or extended stays.
What makes weddings at the Lodge so unique?
The proximity of the cabins means friends and family can walk to the ceremony, reception, or just to come say hello without worrying about driving! You decide which of your guests will stay in each cabin simply by checking our website for its sleeping arrangements, or our wedding consultant can help advise you in more detail.
Loch Lyme Lodge is also unique in the flexibility we allow. We have a terrific list of vendors, so you can design the wedding you've always dreamed of. You're not locked into any single caterer or photographer so you can pick and choose what matters most to you.
